This project will install a photovoltaic plant for self-consumption in Cerâmica de Pegões J. G. Silva facilities. The company is familiar with the use of energy from alternative sources, as since 2006 all the energy used for drying the bricks produced and in the hoven come from biomass (forest residues). This project will allow the factory to install a 250 kWp photovoltaic plant for self-consumption. It will be composed by 1000 panels which will generate 410 000 kWh of renewable energy each year.
