What will you be financing?

MACO is a family-owned company specialized in producing prepared and packaged food products. The company aims to decarbonize its activities through the use of renewable energy.

The funds raised from this campaign will be used to install a photovoltaic plant for self-consumption at the company's headquarters to reduce its dependence on grid energy, and stabilize electricity costs while reducing your carbon footprint.

The project entails the installation of 96 photovoltaic panels of 545W to produce 52.32kWp of clean energy. 

The installer of the project will be Lendel Media Solutions, a technology company with over 11 years of activity. Lendel offers renewable energy projects to its clients. Their aim is to promote positive social, environmental and cultural change.

What is the impact?

  • Contributing to the decarbonization of the economy, by avoiding the emission of CO2: with an estimated clean energy production of 74.45 MWh annually, the solar plant will help avoid the emission of more than 10 tonnes of CO2 per year, equivalent to planting 464 trees.
  • Cost reduction for the final client: the decentralized energy production through renewable sources, close to the consumption site, helps to avoid distribution costs, making this a more competitive option than reverting to the national grid. Furthermore, the decreased dependency of the company on the national grid, makes it less vulnerable to price fluctuations and fiscal charges.
